Curriculum 

Bible - DFCS uses the Encounter Bible Curriculum where the Bible is the textbook. "Consider a Bible class where every students’ friendship with Jesus is nurtured —through countless connection opportunities with Him and through a growing, confident knowledge of Scripture —so that they may be challenged to make an eternal difference in our world." Literacy - The literacy curriculum DFCS uses is Pathways 2.0. This curriculum includes word study, reading strategies, and writing instruction through the use of an anchor text. More information can be found at https://pathways.adventisteducation.org/index.html. DFCS also includes vocabulary, handwriting, phonics, and grammar lessons within our literacy block. 

Math - Big Ideas Math curriculum provides engaging learning experiences that provide support for a variety of learning styles. Science - By Design science curriculum is a "faith-based inquiry science program." Through hands-on and engaging learning experiences, students build their curiosity of the world around them. More information can be found at https://adventisteducationbydesign.com/. 

Social Studies - DFCS uses the SoSmart Social Studies curriculum which utilizes the McGraw-Hill textbooks on digital platforms.
